About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network, aiming to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. The Sr. Product Manager - Tech for Global Expansion will be the single-threaded owner for defining and delivering the end-to-end customer experience lifecycle for new locales, expanding the footprint of Amazon Leo. This role will focus on the international growth for the residential segment, defining customer discovery, ordering, setup, monitoring, and management of the service. The position involves owning requirements and execution for customer onboarding, order management, broadband service provisioning, new hardware support, satellite terminal device management, and network management. The PM-T will define integration paradigms, develop a common vision and scope, establish timelines, and drive launch readiness. This involves partnering with Business, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders, and executing in partnership with Leo Engineering and other Amazon teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum due to export control laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated business and operational experience within high scale fixed, wireless and satellite telecommunications services targeting consumer and enterprise verticals.
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
  • Experience driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the end-to-end customer experience lifecycle for new locales.
  • Own requirements and execution for customer onboarding, order management, broadband service provisioning, new hardware support, satellite terminal device management, and network management.
  • Define integration paradigms across multiple systems.
  • Develop a common vision and scope.
  • Establish timelines and drive launch readiness.
  • Define the vision and plan by partnering with Business, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
  • Execute in partnership with Leo Engineering and other Amazon teams.
  • Work directly with customers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to define Leo service offerings via working backwards and business requirements documents.
  • Analyze and implement subscription lifecycle models with appropriate KPIs for their customer segment.
  • Own tangible goals and deliverables to enable system development and readiness to scale globally and deliver the best customer experiences through service delivery.
