  • 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Hands-on experience with carrier-grade IP networking: routing, WAN architecture, traffic engineering, QoS, and hybrid connectivity across fiber, wireless, and satellite environments
  • Familiarity with 4G/5G architectures, transport networks, backhaul systems, or private wireless deployments
  • Understanding of how satellite connectivity integrates into modern distributed infrastructure, including edge compute, hybrid cloud networking, secure overlays, and latency-sensitive workloads
  • Experience in one or more of the following verticals: mobile network operators, broadcasters, tower companies, microwave or ptp infrastructure, maritime/aviation connectivity, or rural broadband
  • Comfort engaging customers to design architectures, lead technical discovery, and develop scalable solutions
  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred backgrounds: telecommunications engineering, satellite communications, service provider networking, distributed edge infrastructure, or large-scale enterprise WAN design
  • Familiarity with automation tools, infrastructure APIs, and workflow scripting is a plus
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • Experience working with Microwave point to point or other point to point technologies
  • Experience with 4G/5G architectures, transport networks, backhaul systems, or private wireless deployments
  • Experience in one or more of the following verticals: mobile network operators, broadcasters, tower companies, microwave or ptp infrastructure, maritime/aviation connectivity, or rural broadband

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the customer — engage directly with mobile network operators, broadcasters, tower companies, infrastructure teams, maritime/aviation providers, and rural broadband deployments to influence the roadmap of new features and service capabilities.
  • Incubate and launch new solutions — design end-to-end architectures, lead technical discovery sessions, develop reference solutions, and support proofs of concept that enable customer use cases across LEO satellite and hybrid network environments.
  • Translate customer requirements into product direction — understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with product management and engineering teams to guide the evolution of our offerings, with a focus on carrier-grade networking, WAN architectures, routing, traffic engineering, QoS, and hybrid connectivity across fiber, wireless, and satellite environments.
  • Solve technical and commercial blockers creatively — develop new product offerings that bridge physical network constraints with scalable IP and cloud-integrated architectures aligned to customer operational goals.
  • Earn trust through transparency and expertise — build long-term strategic partnerships with customers by demonstrating subject matter expertise in satellite communications, 4G/5G architectures, transport networks, backhaul systems, private wireless deployments, and distributed edge infrastructure.
  • Develop and share technical content — create and capture best practices, reference architectures, white papers, code samples, and blog posts covering topics such as edge compute, hybrid cloud networking, secure overlays, and latency-sensitive workloads.
  • Grow the Solutions Architecture organization — contribute through hiring, coaching, and mentoring others, and support knowledge sharing across the team.
