About The Position

Administer and maintain product data within JDE, Document and Specification systems, and other supporting software platforms, ensuring consistency and upholding data integrity. This individual will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of integrations of our data across a variety of systems. This role will be a part of the Product Data Management group and can provide backup support to other members of that group as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • +3 years of experience with an ERP system required
  • Required to utilize basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently on daily tasks, and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain professionalism
  • Ability to communicate effectively in corresponding teams and across functional departments

Nice To Haves

  • Quality / Science background preferred
  • JD Edwards preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint
  • Experience with a Specification Management application/platform is desired
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow through to conclusion of assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain product data within JDE, Document and Specification systems, and other supporting software platforms, ensuring consistency and upholding data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain integrations of data across a variety of systems.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the Product Data Management group.
  • Perform daily activities in JD Edwards including New Product Requests (NPR), Item Branch Adds, Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and Deactivations.
  • Participate in special projects to maintain, change, or update existing data.
  • Ensure consistency, data integrity, and timeliness of data request submissions to JDE and other platforms.
  • Provide and support internal and external customers with proper documentation or data requests.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks and activities to meet company expectations.
  • Maintain, update, and create various document types with the assistance of subject matter experts and ensure proper publication in the document control platform.
  • Collaborate on the integration of specification documents and systems of record, driving continuous improvement for accurate, efficient, and synchronized data management.
  • Assist or lead efforts to make system integrations more accurate and processes more efficient through cross-functional projects.
  • Manage SDS delivery and corrections to the delivery process.
  • Update purchased COA data for proper filing of forms.
  • Perform daily activities associated with the Document Control Process.
  • Cross-train with the Compliance team’s responsibilities and act as a backup when needed.
  • Search required background information, track and report metrics as needed.
