About The Position

As a Product Owner within our Data & Analytics – Corporate IT team, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data products, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into data roadmaps and actionable product requirements. You will prioritize initiatives, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. Working closely with architecture, engineering, and cross-functional teams, you will drive the successful delivery of data and analytics solutions while maintaining the quality and reliability of our data products. This role is ideal for someone with strong product ownership, business analysis, and stakeholder management experience who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Agile principles to deliver Data & Analytics solutions.
• At least 2 years in a Product Owner capacity ideally within the Scaled Agile Framework.
• Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools is essential.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery principles and their application within the frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), SCRUM or KANBAN
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Fluency in French & English.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in a data analytics field are a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leads and technology teams to define data solutions and business-aligned roadmaps that drive measurable value for our partners across OpenText.
• Identify business needs, clarify current-state challenges, define analytical data solutions, oversee implementation, and track KPIs to measure success.
• Work with stakeholders to define, build out, and align business requirements that help shape their data roadmaps, prioritize projects, and ensure delivery teams are focused on the right outcomes.
• Challenge business partners to rethink how they solve business problems through AI/ML-enabled data solutions that can be delivered on their behalf.
• Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, prioritize, and refine data product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements, ensuring ongoing alignment with evolving business needs.
• Manage a segment of the product backlog, ensuring Epics and User Stories are well-defined, estimated, prioritized, and aligned with the overall product roadmap while contributing to sprint planning and execution.
• Apply Scaled Agile principles and practices to manage and deliver data and analytics projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Help build the Data Product practice within the Corporate IT team by actively contributing to the evolution of processes, tooling, operating models, and ways of working.
