A Day in the Life Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Research & Development (R&D) organization is looking for a motivated engineer with experience in systems engineering principles and practices to work in a systems engineering role for product development. The position responsibilities will focus on system concept and architecture, requirements and design, integration, verification, and validation for products within the CRM ecosystem. You will be responsible for partnering with systems engineer peers, marketing, product design teams, quality and program management to drive meaningful design inputs, a robust design, and ultimately an efficient and effective verification and validation strategy. Along the path to launch, you will become a technical contributor towards the success of the product and help establish best-practices and innovative approaches towards proving that our products meet the expectations of the Medtronic Mission. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer interested in designing and executing systems engineering activities to produce reliable and successful products. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to execute independently after receiving high level scope and constraints.
