Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a Senior Principal Project Manager to support the Manufacturing Strategy & Integration (MS&I) organization as Organizational Change Management Lead. There are several multi‑year, sector and enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives across MS&I that require strong organizational change management plans and implementation to be successful. The focus of these projects varies from early collaboration, to training to cycle time reduction. This is a hybrid position that can be based in Salt Lake City, Rolling Meadows, Baltimore, San Diego, or Sunnyvale, and the selected candidate must be within commuting distance of one of these sites to meet in-office requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years relevant experience leading redeployment / change management of digital transformation; OR Master’s degree and 6+ years relevant experience.
- Project management experience
- Change management experience
- Must possess superior organization and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels
- Ability to obtain Prosci certification within 90 days of employment, with the certification sponsored by Northrop Grumman
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship

- Technical change‑management experience embedded within Agile/SAFe software development lifecycles.
- Experience in multiple functions or programs within aerospace industry
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination and execution of deployment and change management activities.
- Define & Execute Change Strategy – In partnership with MS Organization Effectiveness & Talent, build the end‑to‑end change roadmaps (ADKAR‑based), aligning with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Consolidate individual project change road maps into a single, phased program roadmap that highlights inter dependencies, key milestones, and critical go live dates.
- Lead project teams to identify impacted and interested stakeholders.
- Develop a cohesive communications strategy and communications plan, overseeing creation of multi-channel deliverables.
- Define the training model to scale across projects in partnership with Learning / Development / Talent SMEs.
- Develop sponsorship and stakeholder strategies to ensure leadership engagement and buy-in throughout the initiative.
- Create middle and frontline leadership strategies as part of larger change management plans, ensure timely execution.
