All about the role: The Senior Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting our largest accounts in a fast-paced, constantly evolving manufacturing environment. This highly visible position requires flexibility in adapting pricing strategies, as well as a keen attention to detail and a collaborative approach. The Senior Pricing Analyst will have direct exposure to senior leadership and business decision-makers, and must possess the ability to work independently to find solutions to complex problems. Reporting to the Director Revenue Growth Management for Electrolux Major Appliances NA, Ownership Solutions and Wellbeing. This role is based in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analysis or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a pricing, analytics or finance role
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Dashboards, Xlookups, Vlookups, Modeling, Forecasting, Breakeven Analysis, etc.)
  • Prior experience with SQL and similar data mining tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and find solutions to complex problems

  • Familiarity with pricing concepts such as margin/revenue walks, price waterfall, value-based pricing, and reward-based pricing
  • Ability to create data visualizations to uncover and highlight pricing opportunities using Tableau or similar tools

Responsibilities

  • Manage numerous high volume accounts and provide detailed pricing analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Participate in monthly forecast cycles and PVM (Price-Volume-Mix) reviews
  • Analyze promotion schedules in collaboration with senior account managers
  • Present complex datasets in a clear and understandable manner to internal stakeholders
  • Leverage SAP skills and advanced Excel proficiency to drive data-driven insights
  • Work independently to research, analyze and solve pricing-related issues
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Line, Marketing and Merchandising to set the pricing strategy, identify areas of opportunity, and monitor pricing performance
  • Own the end-to-end pricing process within the business area, developing new and improved capabilities to execute on price
  • Analyze transaction data and identify opportunities to improve profitability in existing and new markets/product lines
  • Partner with Commercial Finance to evaluate, summarize, and propose action plans by price tacking channels
  • Develop management reporting on price, volume, mix and price waterfall for all customer channels to create visibility and drive top-line improvement
