About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Pricing Analyst to lead cost proposal development and pricing activities in support of government contracting efforts. This role is primarily responsible for developing compliant, competitive, and well-supported pricing for proposals. In addition to core pricing responsibilities, this position may provide program control and financial analysis support, as needed, to assist with program execution and financial visibility. The ideal candidate has strong pricing experience and is comfortable stepping into program financial support when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 4–8+ years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or related financial roles, preferably within government contracting.
  • Strong understanding of government proposal pricing processes and regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposal deadlines simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience developing pricing for federal government proposals.
  • Familiarity with cost-type, Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract structures.
  • Exposure to program controls, financial reporting, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts.
  • Experience with Unanet or similar project accounting and financial management tools.
  • Understanding of indirect rate structures, including fringe, overhead, and General & Administrative (G&A) expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of cost proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and task orders.
  • Ensure pricing compliance with FAR, DFARS, and solicitation requirements.
  • Build, maintain, and document pricing models, including direct labor, subcontractor costs, Other Direct Costs (ODCs), and indirect rates.
  • Develop and support Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation aligned with technical and management approaches.
  • Perform cost and price analyses, including subcontractor evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Contracts, and Technical teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Support cost volume preparation and audit readiness, including responses to DCAA inquiries.
  • Assist Program Managers with budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
  • Support development of Estimates at Completion (EACs), burn rate analyses, and variance reporting.
  • Monitor program financial performance, including labor utilization and subcontractor spending.
  • Track funding, revenue, and costs to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reporting and internal management reviews.
