About The Position

The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities. This position can be based out of one of the following locations (hybrid schedule eligible / routine onsite requirements apply): Computing and Networks Center of Excellence - Johnstown, PA, Sensors Center of Excellence - Largo, FL, Submarine Combat Systems Center of Excellence - Twin Cities, MN. The Pricing Analyst I supports the development of competitive and compliant cost models and financial proposals for U.S. Federal Government solicitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial,) Supply Chain, or other related field with 5+ years of directly related experience (preferably in a government contracting environment)
  • Or equivalent combination of education/training and experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics
  • Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis
  • Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction
  • Partner with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
  • Provide support for all cost and price reviews, prepare relevant documentation for contract negotiations, and ensure full compliance during internal and external audits
  • Support proposal team in developing detailed cost breakdowns and establish estimating assumptions, rationale, and the overall Basis of Estimate (BOE) to support FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposals
  • Create/administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization
