Pricing Analyst
About The Position
The Pricing Analyst will manage daily pricing requests, ensure data integrity in ERP and pricing platforms, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve pricing discrepancies. This role involves maintaining pricing data, generating reports, supporting system migrations, and assisting with price adjustments for various business needs. The analyst will also be responsible for documenting pricing processes, analyzing recurring issues to recommend improvements, and supporting audits related to pricing and compliance. Additionally, the role includes providing training on pricing systems and communicating pricing-related risks and opportunities to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data validation)
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization
Nice To Haves
- Internship experience in finance, accounting, or sales operations (ideally within medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare) preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage daily pricing requests submitted via email, CRM systems, or pricing portals in a timely and accurate manner
- Review, validate, and load approved pricing into ERP and pricing platforms (e.g., JDE, Salesforce), ensuring data integrity and audit readiness
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Maintain and monitor pricing data across systems, ensuring alignment with contract terms, margin thresholds, and internal approval processes
- Generate recurring and ad hoc pricing reports, impact reports, audit trails, and historical pricing data for internal stakeholders
- Support system migrations and updates affecting pricing tables, logic, or administrative workflows
- Assist in implementing price adjustments for promotions, product launches, contract updates, and annual pricing reviews
- Document pricing decisions, workflows, approvals, and escalation paths in a centralized and easily auditable format
- Analyze recurring pricing issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Support internal and external audits related to pricing, compliance, contract performance, and customer billing history
- Ensure all pricing documentation, processes, and decisions comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., Sunshine Act, AKS, FDA)
- Provide training and user support to cross-functional teams on JDE pricing workflows, Salesforce pricing modules, and related procedures
- Proactively communicate pricing-related risks, inefficiencies, or business opportunities to senior leadership
