About The Position

A. Duie Pyle, a family-owned business since 1924, offers integrated transportation and distribution solutions across the Northeast. Supported by a vast network of LTL service centers, warehouse facilities, and dedicated locations, the company provides flexible and seamless integrated solutions tailored to customer needs. The Pricing Analyst will collaborate with Sales, Yield Management, Terminal Managers, and Senior Management, providing analytical support for pricing proposals. This role involves receiving pricing requests, preparing proposals for internal review and approval, and communicating them to customers and Sales. The analyst will also act as a liaison between LTL pricing and the Solutions Design department, evaluate processes, and maintain accurate reporting.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with specific deadlines
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers and internal departments
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous LTL Pricing experience
  • transportation, logistics, customer service, sales, and or rates experience is encouraged, not required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating cross-departmental to provide pricing that involves other Pyle business units
  • Acting as the liaison between LTL pricing and the Solutions Design department for proposal creation and a strategic thought partner as it relates to process evaluation
  • Collecting and analyze appropriate support data to submit pricing requests to the pricing committee as required
  • Submitting proposals to customers and sales within required time frame
  • Maintaining accurate reporting of all pricing activities including maintaining and updating SalesForce
  • Coordinating with sales field to prepare pricing analysis for management review
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices
  • Conducting data analysis and make recommendation based on input from several departments, including Sales, Solutions Design, Operations, etc
