About The Position

Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Sr. Presales Systems Engineer to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding customer business needs, identifying opportunities to enhance Forescout solutions, and representing Forescout at conferences and customer visits. You will maintain expertise in the Forescout platform, provide technical presentations and solution demos, develop and implement Proof-of-Concept (POC) test configurations, and work cross-functionally to ensure customer feedback is incorporated. The role requires a motivated individual eager to work with networking technologies, enjoy hands-on testing, and customer interaction, while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience with 10+ years of experience
Excellent hands-on lab work, excellent presentation and writing skills, ability to travel, and customer awareness skills
Experience working collaboratively with distributed teams
Ambitious learner and builder with strong customer focus and with quality
Motivated to work with networking technologies, enjoy hands-on testing, and customer interaction
Experience in taking requirements and incorporating best practices to provide the optimum user experience
Thrives in a high-paced, changing work environment
Flexible and desire to take on additional responsibilities
Multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with large accounts
Hands-on knowledge and Expertise in relevant industry technologies including Networking, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and IOT.

Preference is for candidates to reside within the Chicago or Ohio regions.

Responsibilities

Participate in customer meetings and discussions to understand their business needs and identify opportunities to enhance Forescout solutions.
Travel locally within the Ohio and surrounding territories to represent Forescout at conferences, engage with partners, and visit customers on-site
Maintain expertise in all areas of the Forescout platform through technical training
Clearly articulate the benefits of the Forescout Platform and its many use cases and provide technical presentations and solution demos to prospective customers
Develop Proof-of-Concept (POC) test configurations based upon requirements agreed upon with the prospect and prove out the solution within the customer environment.
Implement the designed POC with the customer by managing time, responding to configuration adjustments, and resolving any issues or questions that may arise during the testing period.
Work cross functionally with product and customer success organizations to ensure your customers’ voice is heard
Be motivated and eager to work with networking technologies. Enjoy hands-on testing and customer interaction
Work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
Have fun working with some of Forescout’s largest customers
