About The Position

The Sr People Experience Specialist is responsible for leading the organization's enterprise wide teammember listening and research program. Designs, executes, and evolves quantitative and qualitative research efforts that capture the voice of the teammember and translate insights into clear, actionable narratives for executives, HR partners, and Talent Development leaders. Transforms complex teammember data into compelling stories that inform decision making, shape strategy, and improve the overall teammember experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required
  • 5-7 years of prior relevant experience required
  • Advanced educational background in Industrial-Organizational Psychology
  • Knowledge of research and employee research techniques
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research design and analysis.
  • Strong foundation in statistical analysis and interpretation.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on executive storytelling.
  • Familiarity with engagement platforms, survey tools, and people analytics ecosystems.
  • Experience in credit unions or other service-oriented, mission-driven organizations.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the enterprise teammember listening strategy, including teammember engagement surveys, lifecycle and pulse surveys, qualitative research, and ad hoc studies.
  • Analyze and synthesize teammember data to identify key drivers and trends, and communicate actionable, methodologically sound insights with appropriate context and limitations.
  • Translate complex teammember data into cohesive, executive ready narratives that inform strategy and action.
  • Develop research frameworks that connect engagement, experience, performance, development, and retention insights.
  • Partner with external vendors or advisors as needed to support research execution and benchmarking.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Development to interpret findings and align insights to business priorities.
  • Establish best practices for teammember research standards, documentation, and governance.
  • Assist with design and administration of assessments to support talent analytics and decisioning.
  • Apply and stay current with I/O Psychology principles to ensure research validity, reliability, and ethical use of teammember data.
