About The Position

Responsible for coordinating and developing forced, planned, and refuel outage schedules, with a focus on activity, logic, resource, and constraint input into the scheduling tool. The Scheduler develops and maintains accurate schedules throughout development and execution by working with peer Schedulers, Specialized Team Leads, System Engineers, and Outage Specialists.

The position develops detailed outage schedules and plans, supports technical specification compliance and shutdown safety, coordinates risk screening, and provides direction and oversight to planners, schedulers, and specialized teams during outage preparation and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, such as engineering or maintenance, and 7 years of power plant experience, including at least 3 years of commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management; OR current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license and 7 years of power plant experience, including at least 3 years of commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management; OR associate's degree in business or a technical field and 9 years of power plant experience, including at least 3 years of commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management; OR high school diploma/GED and 11 years of power plant experience, including at least 3 years of commercial or military nuclear experience in engineering, maintenance, operations, or work management.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as applicable.
• Pass favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous SRO license or certification.
• Previous outage scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of the Shutdown Safety Program.
• Supervisory or managerial experience.
• Expert-level working knowledge of AS9/P6/Maximo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed, accurate, and usable schedules and reports.
• Develop and maintain forced and maintenance outage plans.
• Coordinate detailed schedule and outage plan development to ensure technical specification compliance and maintain shutdown safety in accordance with clean energy center procedures, processes, and goals.
• Develop work windows and assist in creating contingency plans with leads, engineers, and planners.
• Facilitate scheduling meetings for pre-planning, schedule implementation, and schedule critique.
• Participate in and provide oversight of horizontal schedule reviews and vertical slice reviews.
• Provide direction to departmental planners, schedulers, and specialized teams for outage plan and schedule preparation and execution.
• Support high impact team tracking to provide oversight of effectiveness.
• Coordinate risk screening in accordance with overall outage risk management.
• Perform other assignments and duties pursuant to company policy or management direction, including support of outage activities outside the department.
