Sr. Operations Specialist/Officer (Commercial Real Estate)
About The Position
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an experienced, Sr. Operations Specialist/Officer to join our Commercial Real Estate Team. As a Sr. Operations Specialist/Officer, you will provide operational support for delivering a complete, accurate loan documentation and closing package in coordination with the CRED Loan Officer and under the guidance of the Team Leader or Operations Officer. You will ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures while delivering superior customer service to internal and external clients. Additionally, you will review and prepare construction draw requests for approval and disbursement of loan proceeds.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business, related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years experience in Commercial Banking operations and support with a strong focus on loan operations, particularly commercial real estate and constructions lending
- 2 years of commercial loan documentation experience
- Working knowledge/understanding of basic compliance rules and regulations, basic mortgage documents, Intermediate Loan Agreements, Lien Laws, Legal Terminology, Escrow, Certificates of Insurance, Contracts, and basic accounting.
- Sound knowledge of Bank's CIP, BSA and AML policies and procedures
- State of Hawaii notary license
