About The Position

This position is responsible for reviewing commercial loan approvals and applying applicable due diligence and risk management to simplistic and fundamental in nature projects within the portfolio and pipeline. This role will also be responsible for researching various pieces of real estate and other pledged items to ensure the feasibility of our collateral and protection of the Bank. This position may also include ancillary projects such as maintenance of files and reports.

Requirements

Must be organized and have the dexterity to multi-task.
Strong attention to detail, and to possess the capacity to focus through light office noise.
The ability to remain calm in stressful situations and tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial worksheets/spreads.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
The ability to work independently and take initiative in learning and development.
To exhibit positivity and thoughtfulness.
Must possess the capability to learn and retain knowledge, as well as adapt to change.
High school diploma.
1-2 years of commercial loan, banking or office experience

Responsibilities

Order, organize, and review the necessary documents and reports as required by approvals and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: appraisals, reviews, flood searches, environmental reports, title commitments & searches, and third party inspections.
Work closely with internal staff, as well as outside vendors, to obtain a high standard of due diligence for our commercial loan portfolio.

Prioritize files based upon time constraints and certain needs.
Engage in personal growth activities through internal and external training.
Organizing and maintaining files, including paying vendors for their services and ensuring that the Bank is reimbursed for such fees.
It is also imperative that the Loan Officers and their Assistants are kept up to date with their projects.
