About The Position

This role is for a highly evaluative and cooperative Senior Network Scheduler who will act as the central coordinator for the national distribution network. The individual will be accountable for designing, executing, and maintaining master SAP Network Schedules that govern the flow of products to nearly 2,500 stores across Canada. This position serves as the key connection between Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Distribution Centers. The ideal candidate is an expert of detail, a creative issue-solver, and an excellent communicator who can balance complex operational constraints with the energetic needs of the retail business. The role focuses on optimizing complex systems and propelling efficiency.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field and relevant experience in a distribution, logistics, or retail operations environment.
  • 1 – 3 years’ work experience in distribution or retail operations.
  • Robust comprehension of SAP, particularly Network Schedules, and proficiency in MS Excel for evaluation and solution modeling.
  • Solid comprehension of broader Supply Chain, Transportation, and Retail process flows.
  • Robust evaluative skills with the capability to interpret data and metrics, discover root causes, and create effective solutions.
  • Proven capability to operate effectively with varied business units, advance projects, and propel process improvements, alongside the capacity to operate autonomously with high attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate in English and French.

Responsibilities

  • Assume accountability for the end-to-end setup, creation, and maintenance of all SAP Network Schedules for our national distribution network, ensuring seamless flow from order creation to execution.
  • Serve as the primary communicator for all schedule changes, clearly articulating operational impacts to retail, warehouse, and transportation partners, and operating closely with leadership to oversee holiday, new store, and closure schedules.
  • Evaluate all business schedule change requests to assess feasibility, considering geographical constraints, order frequency, and supply chain impacts, delivering creative and viable scheduling solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for special projects, new store openings, contingency planning, and system executions, assisting new store setup workflows by validating sourcing relationships.
  • Oversee the flow of SAP orders, confirming schedule changes produce expected operational outcomes, and utilizing established exchange of information portals for clear communication.
