About The Position

The primary purpose is to manage Musket’s waterborne commercial operations for Refined Products and Renewable Fuels.

Bachelor's degree in business, supply management, finance, or relevant field experience required
10 + years minimum experience scheduling and executing marine operations.
10 + years minimum experience in a trading environment handling logistics and transportation
Intimate working knowledge around scheduling through various means of transportation
Expert knowledge with Incoterms 2010 / 2020
Experienced with different Refined Product / Renewable grades and specifications
Detail knowledge around common Charter Party formats and common marine GT&Cs
Letter of Credit formats and documentation requirements
Calculating/Estimating freight and other marine related costs
Good written and oral communication skills

Optimize and communicate voyage programming across Musket’s ocean-going and inland-waterway fleet (spot and time-charter)
Develop processes around chartering, loss-control, demurrage etc. to generate and preserve commercial value.
Maintain and develop key internal and external relationships including suppliers, customers, and terminal operators.
Ensure product quality control is consistent with commercial and regulatory handling requirements.
Communicate operational updates to all parties such as Mid-Office, Credit, and Senior Management
Maintain constant communications about scheduling plans with traders, Mid-Office, Back-Office, and third-party personnel. Notify traders of potential scheduling conflicts and suggest ways to mitigate.
Other duties assigned as needed.
