About The Position

The Sr Network Engineer works on an enterprise network spanning datacenters, corporate offices, studio environments, and AWS cloud. The network is evolving to include an AI-driven Juniper/Mist campus fabric, a Palo Alto Networks security edge, and cloud-native connectivity into AWS. The engineer collaborates with engineering teams across the company during design, development, and implementation, and researches, evaluates, and implements emerging technologies, AI-assisted operations, and automation tooling. The position supports the global network across multiple regions on call and provides hands-and-feet support for datacenter and campus sites. The role is onsite in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, or Boston, Massachusetts.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of enterprise network engineering experience across routing, switching, and wireless.
  • Hands-on depth with Juniper (EX/QFX/SRX, Mist) and/or Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus) platforms, and experience with or strong readiness for AI-driven network operations such as Mist/Marvis.
  • Strong knowledge of Internet routing protocols BGP and OSPF, traffic engineering with BGP and SD-WAN, and load balancing solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including policy architecture and Panorama; Cisco ASA VPN, GlobalProtect, and F5.
  • Working experience with AWS networking services, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN, Route 53, and security groups; cloud monitoring such as CloudWatch; and core network services including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills across large-scale distributed platforms.
  • Ability to communicate and deliver under deadline constraints.

Nice To Haves

  • Active AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  • Prisma Access/SASE deployment experience or Palo Alto Cloud Identity Engine (CIE) exposure.
  • Production infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform or Ansible pipelines to manage network state.
  • Experience in a multi-studio, multi-BU entertainment or gaming enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operate Juniper/Mist campus and branch infrastructure.
  • Engineer and maintain the Palo Alto Networks security stack.
  • Build and support AWS cloud networking, including VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN, Route 53, and hybrid connectivity between on-premises datacenters and cloud.
  • Engineer WAN traffic using BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN.
  • Automate network configuration, validation, and deployment using Python, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Modernize network observability through streaming telemetry, flow analysis, and cloud-native monitoring.
  • Maintain working knowledge of emerging architecture trends, including next-generation datacenter, SASE, and zero-trust; conduct proof-of-concept exercises, provide design mentorship, and communicate across business, creative, and technology teams.
  • Provide on-call support for the global network across multiple regions.
  • Provide hands-and-feet support for datacenter and campus sites.
