The Senior National Account Manager (AM), Specialty Channel is responsible for managing the relationship and activities within Specialty Pharmacy (SP) Accounts for Biogen’s product portfolio as well as future pipeline products. This position will serve as the conduit between the Specialty Pharmacy and broader Biogen business including Brand, Finance, Patient Services, Compliance, IT, etc. The AM will build strong, meaningful relationships with key decision makers as well as drive strategic priorities within the account. The relationships should extend to VP level stakeholders and be developed through QBRs, conference attendance, and other in person meetings. Execution of strategic priorities shall include management of distribution/service performance via contracted metrics, escalation management, and keen understanding of operational processes at the account. To be successful in this role, the AM must be able to write Specialty Pharmacy contracts in collaboration with Legal, negotiate favorable terms, serve as the subject matter expert for all matters pertaining to his/her account, and create content as necessary (polished QBR /internal slide decks, ROI assessments, DOH metrics, etc) all with minimal oversight. This field based position is a field-based role reporting to the Head of T&D Field.
