About The Position

This is a newly created vertical inside a category-defining AI platform, focusing on Emerging AI companies that are well-funded, scaling fast, and operationally complex. These companies need to move from chaos to structure and are looking for an operating system to manage their fragmented workflows. The role involves selling a unified AI agent layer that replaces multiple disconnected tools, enabling organizations to execute work efficiently. The company is on a trajectory toward a 2027 IPO.

Requirements

  • 7–12 years in sales, with at least 6 years in a quota-carrying role.
  • Majority of experience in high-volume mid-market sales, managing 80–120+ accounts.
  • Current or recent mid-market experience with accounts in the 400–4,000 employee range.
  • Experience selling AI platforms, workflow automation, or multi-use-case platforms that require a business case.
  • Experience with line-of-business sales motions, selling to Marketing, Ops, Product, or RevOps leaders (not IT).
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline discipline.
  • Lives in or is willing to relocate to Austin, San Francisco, or New York City.

Nice To Haves

  • Startup or growth-stage company experience preferred, alongside larger platform exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Own a dedicated book of 80–120 Emerging AI accounts, which are well-funded, high-growth companies in the 400–4,000 employee range.
  • Engage with organizations that are already investing in tooling and feeling the pain of scale, with existing budget and priority.
  • Implement a land-and-expand motion: land with one team (Marketing, Product Ops, RevOps, PMO) and expand across business units as workflow wins compound.
  • Build a $150K–$500K+ footprint through multi-team adoption.
  • Work with faster deal cycles and higher-frequency activity, focusing on volume, momentum, and account growth.
  • Build your own pipeline in a new vertical, acting as a hunter.
