About The Position

The Senior Manager of Clinical Revenue Analytics helps drive the enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and performance analytics for net patient revenue. This role partners cross-functionally to inform high impact decisions, related to planning, payer strategy and business growth. The Senior manager is responsible for aggregating, analyzing, and publishing financial analysis for net patient revenue rates and their drivers. This role provides financial support for Clinical Finance and reports to the SR Director Revenue Analytics.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Essbase
  • Proficient with Hyperion, or experience implementing budgeting software for financial planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance or related business field required.
  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Directs employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
  • Reviews and analyzes net patient revenue rate variances, providing consultative insights to management and operational teams.
  • Prepares the annual net patient revenue rate budget and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintains detailed proforma financial models for new business initiatives, contract negotiations, and evolving business models to assess profitability and sustainability.
  • Creates and maintains accurate projections of net patient revenue across budgeting, forecasting, proforma modeling, and subsidy reconciliations
  • Leads analysis of rate changes and reimbursement trends, including rate bridge reporting and payer mix shifts, to support pricing strategy and revenue optimization
  • Analyzes monthly net patient revenue results, identifies key drivers of variance, and communicates actionable insights to Clinical Finance, Operations, and other departments.
  • Prepares advanced payer contract models, providing financial scenarios to support negotiation strategies.
  • Serves as a consultant to business stakeholders, interfacing with various levels of management to support decision-making.
  • Documents data sources, assumptions, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Troubleshoots program logic and data issues systematically to maintain reporting integrity.
  • Participates in monthly financial meetings, delivering analysis and following up on research requests.
  • Proactively analyzes data to identify opportunities for improvement and best practice implementation.
  • Prepares ad hoc financial analyses to support business needs and management requests.
