As a Sr, Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our Oak Street Health patients, providers and business by centralizing and The Sr. Manager, Change Management & Operational Communications is a dedicated resource within the Project Management Office (PMO) responsible driving change management strategy and execution. In this role this role, you will work closely with PMO leadership and cross-functional teams to advance Oak Street’s change management operating model.

Requirements

  • Deep operational understanding of Health Care workflows, organizational structure, and goals. Ability to navigate complex clinical operations.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills. Proven ability to distill dense technical or operational processes into easy-to-understand, compelling copy tailored to different roles.
  • Professional experience creating training collateral, interactive guides, visual aids, and multi-media learning assets.
  • Strong organization and leadership skills. Comfort collaborating with senior operational leaders, clinical experts (CMDs/SMDs), regional directors (RDOs/RVPs), and position leaders.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and experience implementing structured change frameworks in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6+ years of progressive project management in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Support the two pillars of Oak Street's change management operating model: Strategic Initiative Sequencing & Capacity (SISC) Governance and Initiative Implementation & Change Management Lifecycle Management.
  • Consult with initiative owners and evaluate upcoming projects against Oak Street's Change Archetypes (based on change complexity and audience breadth (impact by role, team, or full organization).
  • Enforce a standardized framework for field-facing communications and training, ensuring key elements (such as the 'what', 'why', 'impact to organizational goals', and 'how') are consistently addressed.
  • Participate in and facilitate weekly PMO meetings to review, provide feedback, and approve implementation and change plans. Guide initiative owners through small-group consultations prior to meetings.
  • Manage select communication / training pathways, including the Learning Tuesday process. Engaging with multiple critical stakeholders to ensure sessions are developed and executed according to plan.
  • Own the creation, curation, and continuous optimization of select employee facing operational communications (e.g., Epic Pulse) and training materials to maintain standard, role-specific messaging across the enterprise.
  • Translate complex operational workflows, clinical process and policy shifts, and Epic builds into clear, concise, and action-oriented messaging that explains the 'why' and 'how' to front-line teams.
  • In partnership with the Learning team and business owners, design and produce engaging learning assets, including 1-pagers, job aids, slide decks, video walkthroughs, and specialized user guides.
  • Define, collect, and analyze standard implementation metrics, post-launch adoption rates, and feedback to measure the success of rollouts.
  • Identify post-release training and communication reinforcement needs and coordinate follow-up activities to ensure long-term initiative sustainability.
