In this vital role you will:

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 18 months of experience in the job offered or in an Engineering – related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience in Automated systems and Robotics
  • 1 year of experience in Allen Bradley Automation SCADA and PLC Platform
  • 1 year of experience in Automation controls experience within a manufacturing support environment
  • 1 year of experience in Knowledge of Automated Systems operation and management
  • 1 year of experience in an FDA (cGMP) or regulated environment in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
  • 1 year of experience in Automation systems troubleshooting and issue resolution experience
  • 1 year of experience in Knowledge of the project management cycle and to support in the development and delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Automated Warehouse System (ASRS) continuous operation and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) goals by monitoring equipment health, troubleshooting and correcting any errors or equipment failures
  • Support the design, implementation and validation of the physical and automated material movement flow of inbound and outbound materials between the automated storage systems and Production areas
  • Support and ensure successful integration and update of the between the current Automated Warehouse Management Control Systems SAP eWM ERP system, Host interfaces, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and any new capacity expansion initiatives
  • Support design & implementation of business processes associated with the Automated warehouse
  • Oversight of the Automated warehouse equipment including cranes, conveyors, Automated Guided Vehicles and other material management equipment
  • Work closely with Engineering, Digital Technology Innovation, Maintenance, Construction, Commissioning/Qualification, EHSS and Design teams to provide support planning, coordination and execution of the Automated Warehouse System
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Automated Warehouse Management Software/Hardware, AGVs, Host interfaces (SAP eWM) including change management, quality management and document management
  • Drive the ASRS / AGV support team including managing trainings and 100% operations uptime
  • Support capital planning for expansion, recapitalization for new or existing warehouse systems and equipment
  • Supervises direct reports.
