This role involves monitoring, controlling, and improving state-of-the-art 200mm semiconductor equipment. The engineer will act as a tool owner, responsible for resolving complex errors and tool failures. Key duties include performing and training others on preventive maintenance, reviewing Statistical Process Control charts to ensure process quality and troubleshoot defects, identifying and implementing improvements to optimize tool safety, quality, availability, throughput, and cost of parts and service, and communicating these improvements to the team. The position also supports the startup and installation of new equipment and is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment around the tools.
