  • Understanding of FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR) and involvement in an ISO 13485 operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical products, subsystems, and components.
  • Shape product design through brainstorming and concept generation, and define functional needs, system requirements, and verification methods.
  • Apply creative thinking and state-of-the-art technology to solve technical design problems throughout the development process.
  • Work with technicians and/or perform hands-on assembly and testing in the lab to demonstrate feasibility or refine design solutions.
  • Work with program managers to complete or lead tasks within budget and schedule.
  • Generate design, development, and support documentation in accordance with QS/ISO processes and procedures.
  • Communicate results and progress in writing and verbally to project leadership and customers.
  • Participate in, and potentially lead, developmental activities for less experienced team members in collaboration with management and Team Leads.
