About The Position

As the Sr. Marketing Specialist - Construction, you will have the opportunity to support the delivery of construction marketing strategic plans, including brand management, marketing and communications efforts to promote Black & Veatch construction capabilities across Black & Veatch and its two subsidiaries, BVCI and OCI. You will provide marketing support for recruiting efforts for professional, staff, and craft construction roles around the world; amplify the culture and value of construction professionals internally and externally; work with partners and clients to communicate the value of construction; and activate craft and staff voices to build BV’s reputation as an employer of choice. You will serve as a marketing partner for construction capabilities at Black & Veatch and within the global marketing organization. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or a related field; or equivalent experience
6+ years related experience

Responsibilities

Work across BV Operations and segments (such as Power), and sub-brands such as BVCI and OCI to implement an integrated marketing plan that enhances the company’s construction brand, differentiates it from competitors, and communicates its value to clients.
Manage implementation of marketing strategies and tactics to support construction talent acquisition teams.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand construction culture and capabilities, then help articulate construction differentiation and value internally and externally.
Support the development of competitive analyses, market research, and proprietary research to understand market trends, competitor positioning, competitive capabilities, and industry marketing campaigns and tactics.
Ensure integrity of Black & Veatch, BVCI, and OCI brands across internal and external marketing and communications.
Coordinate with functional marketing teams to implement and manage tactical campaign execution.
Support client-facing marketing activities, including industry events, association engagement, and coordination with account teams.
Work closely with the marketing communications team to develop storytelling programs that elevate the reputation of BV construction internally and externally; amplify the pride of construction teams through the projects and value they create around the world.
Plan, schedule, manage, and promote content through owned digital channels, including the website and social media channels in coordination with communications and social media teams.
Support digital marketing campaigns, social media, website content, partner marketing, and promotional and marketing communications that contribute to audience engagement and growth.
Coordinate public relations and media relations activities between project teams, business leaders, and external communications.
Support the creation of onsite project assets, signage, and brand materials.
Track, analyze, and report on campaign outcomes. Understand the impact of campaign efforts, recommend adjustments, and help develop and monitor KPIs.
