This role is hybrid, performed both from home and a LinkedIn office on select days, based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or New York City. The Owned In-House Agency Team, part of the Channel Strategy & Operations (CSO) marketing team, aims to create and convert demand efficiently at scale, increasing effectiveness and efficiency across Marketing. This team supports the LinkedIn Owned Media team, which leads channel strategy, prioritization, and performance across Email and LinkedIn Ads. The team ensures high-quality execution and operational excellence for campaigns, including builds, QA, and reporting insights. A key focus is enabling efficiency and consistency through technology, automation, and tooling. The Marketing Technology Operations Manager acts as a vital link between CSO and MarTech teams, driving the tooling and agentic vision, ensuring transparent communication, and securing leadership approval for strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with operational excellence to drive efficiency and scale across marketing technology platforms.

Requirements

  • BA/ BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing Operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to use AI-driven tools or agentic workflows to automate tasks and GTM execution.
  • Demonstrated commitment to system stability, documentation, and long-term engineering rigor.
  • Exceptional analytical, system design, and documentation skills; capable of translating business requirements into scalable technical workflows.
  • Relentless focus on process optimization, efficiency, and automation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with paid funnel operations (LinkedIn Ads) and email service providers (Adobe Campaign) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be both the champion and project manager for advancing the Owned In-House Agency technology roadmap and vision. Drive education and adoption of marketing technology roadmap.
  • Act as the primary liaison between CSO and MarTech teams, facilitating clear communication and resolving escalations.
  • Ensure all relevant parties are updated on strategic action plans and obtain necessary leadership approvals.
  • Optimize marketing technology processes for efficiency and scalability, refactoring legacy workflows into automated solutions.
  • Maintain system stability and uphold rigorous documentation standards, approaching changes with an engineering mindset.
  • Design and monitor scalable technical workflows that meet evolving business needs.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools and agentic workflows to automate tasks and support go-to-market (GTM) execution.
  • Create, maintain and execute against the Owned channels’ roadmap, aligning priorities across CSO and MarTech stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ad operations, including platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
