About The Position

We are looking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to lead our Shopper & Field Marketing agenda and champion our brands (and customers) growth in these ever-important channels across Canada. A change leader and influencer, this role will build a strategic vision, set the agenda, and build breakthrough portfolio marketing and brand engagement plans that deliver both short-term and long-term results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree (Business degree preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and create breakthrough consumer marketing plans that drive short- and long-term results
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and build top talent with the organization
  • Proven ability to lead agency relationships to achieve gold standard results
  • Business savvy and an opportunity seeker

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of breakthrough shopper marketing plans in Large Format channels which deliver brand growth and strengthen brand equity.
  • Lead annual key selling cycle planning and execution in collaboration with Sales Strategy & 1PepsiCo Sales leads.
  • Collaborate and develop strategic relationships with our top Canadian customers marketing teams to ensure our marketing plans are connected and strategically aligned to their corporate strategies.
  • Wire and collaborate with 1PepsiCo Sales organization to ensure strategic alignment for growth maximization.
  • Collaborate strategically with brand teams (CSD, Energy, Water, Gatorade and Partners), cross functional partners including Sales Strategy, Field and 1PCT Sales to ensure excellence across all consumer touch points.
  • Manage the POS & Tool forecasting, shipping and tracking processes from marketing standpoint to realize efficiencies and drive best in class execution.
  • Act as key Marketing partner to Field Selling organization on behalf of brand teams, pull through all executional priorities and selling information and effectively cascade to the field.
  • Foster strong working relationship with Better Together foods colleagues, partnering to develop an annual calendar of marketing programing which brings together our iconic food and beverage brands.
  • Lead the development of all Better Together marketing campaigns in partnership with Foods counterpart ensuring flawless execution.
  • Lead innovation and commercialization agenda for Costco, ensuring speed to market and strategic alignment across product launches.
  • Collaborate strategically with brand teams (CSD, Energy, Water, Gatorade & Partners) to build an innovation pipeline which will deliver brand growth that aligns with customer priorities.
  • Foster strong collaborative working relationships with cross functional commercialization team, 1PCT Costco Sales leads and sales strategy partners.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 3 direct reports to achieve portfolio objectives and deliver beverages growth aspirations.
  • Play an active role as a senior member of PBC Canada marketing team supporting department engagement and org health initiatives.
