We are seeking a Senior QA Tester to join our experienced Consulting team where you can fully utilize your skills and expertise in quality assurance analysis and business/data analysis to drive effective solutions for the clients’ needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality software and has extensive experience designing, executing, and managing manual testing efforts across complex web, mobile, and API-based applications. This role works closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure products meet functional, usability, and business requirements. You will learn and fully understand our clients’ business, evaluate the issues and develop solutions to become the clients’ key advisor. Location: Atlanta, GA based hybrid position. No relocation budget available.

Requirements

5 + years of manual quality assurance testing experience
Experience with web application testing across different internet browsers
Experience with at least one API test tool (i.e. Postman, Swagger.io, JMeter, etc)
Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate concepts to clients
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ask intelligent questions
Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently or as a team member
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong initiative and ability to follow up

Nice To Haves

Experience with automated testing is a plus
Any experience with technical or enterprise-wide projects is a plus; experience in management consulting is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive end-to-end manual testing on web applications across various browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and responsive layouts
Conduct regression testing cycles before major production releases to ensure new features haven't broken existing functionality
Test RESTful API endpoints independently of the frontend to verify data integrity, error codes, HTTP statuses, and edge cases
Define and execute workflow-based end-user test scenarios
Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly in Jira (including steps to reproduce, actual vs. expected results, screenshots, and network logs)
Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot complex issues
Demonstrate a logical, rigorous, and analytical problem-solving approach
Be an active part of the team culture
Facilitate the development of future state workflows while identifying process, interpersonal and technical gaps that need to be filled
Communicate and provide updates to clients
