About The Position

TransUnion is seeking Sr. Managers, Software Development for its Chicago, IL location. This role is responsible for building a strong team to support the solutions enablement platform organization and deliver a strategic project vision. The position involves partnering with stakeholders across various departments, including Vertical Markets, Global Solutions, Global Data and Analytics, Global Technology, and Global Operations, to deliver innovative customer-facing solutions. Collaboration with product management teams is key to building customer-focused strategies and roadmaps. The role is instrumental in the project engineering organization, leading the modernization of project delivery through the use of public cloud platforms, DevSecOps operating models, and new enabling technologies. The objective is to deliver business value by migrating applications and platforms to a scalable, modern architecture leveraging public cloud. This includes enabling market and solution areas through proactive dialogue on capability needs and aligning them with existing or new architectural patterns and standards. The role requires strong product development expertise and a deep understanding of enterprise technologies, platforms, APIs, and microservices. The Sr. Manager will lead teams of technology leaders, managers, and advanced engineers in building critical platform capabilities and enabling essential business applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Creating a strong team supporting the buildout of our solutions enablement platform organization.
  • Delivering a strategic project vision.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Vertical Markets, Global Solutions, Global Data and Analytics, Global Technology, and Global Operations to deliver innovative customer-facing solutions.
  • Partnering with product management teams and collaborating extensively to build customer-focused strategies and roadmaps.
  • Acting as an instrumental part of the project engineering organization.
  • Leading the modernization of project delivery with use of public cloud platforms, DevSecOps operating models, and new enabling technologies.
