About The Position

Bridgeway is Adobe’s agentic marketing partner for small businesses and solopreneurs — photographers, estheticians, fitness coaches, bakers, contractors — the people running a business with no marketing team behind them. We’re building software that acts like a great marketing hire, not another tool to learn. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives on building scalable, AI-native systems at high velocity. Bridgeway runs like a startup — a small, talent-dense team bringing startup speed inside Adobe. We look for builders who have shipped — engineers who have launched real-world systems, scaled products, and take deep pride in craft and execution over specific titles or pedigrees. Everyone on our team operates across three lenses: product, system design, and execution. That means strong architectural judgment, production-quality code, and product-level reasoning. AI-Native Velocity: Harness AI tools and modern dev workflows like instruments — rapid prototyping, automated testing, and accelerated implementation — shipping in days. End-to-End Ownership: Own features and systems end-to-end: system design, API development, integration, deployment, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in modern full-stack or backend engineering (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, microservices, cloud infrastructure).
Hands-on experience or genuine passion for working with LLMs, prompt orchestration, agentic frameworks, and AI workflows.
Natural adoption of modern AI coding assistants to write code, test, and debug faster without sacrificing quality or system stability.
Driving engineering decisions based on real user value rather than tech for tech’s sake.

Responsibilities

Build production-ready backend services and APIs that ensure fast response times, high availability, and seamless scalability.
Cut through technical complexity to deliver effortless, lightning-fast end-user experiences tailored for non-technical SMB owners.
Partner closely with design engineers to turn high-fidelity concepts and rapid prototypes into robust production software without loss of fidelity.
Establish patterns, shared libraries, and dev tools that raise the baseline engineering quality and velocity across the team.
