About The Position

As Peloton's Workplace Senior Manager, you will be the onsite facilities lead based in Peloton’s NYHQ. You will ensure that the building runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining a high level of project management, organization, and cleanliness. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Workplaces.

Requirements

  • Skilled in multiple fields including plumbing, electrical, base building mechanical systems, and HVAC
  • Proven working experience in a warehouse/office hybrid environment and working across multiple locations (e.g., NYHQ, Linden, Woodinville)
  • Experience developing a site strategy within the US
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Slack
  • Great, helpful attitude in partnering with many different teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to develop and manage a budget
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members in WP
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
  • Ability to be flexible with change in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the NYHQ facility and provide direction to other US sites
  • Maintain all facilities contracts including, but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and janitorial
  • Oversee and coordinate the NYHQ food and beverage program, including managing daily catering and the pantry snack program to create a positive employee experience
  • Utilize systems to track all requests and enhance the use of our systems to better manage workflow (e.g., Jira)
  • Proactively conduct physical inspections of the facility, grounds, and premises
  • Proactively work with landlords on building requirements
  • Lead strategic space planning and occupancy management, and partner with Real Estate and People teams on workforce planning across all offices
  • Support large-scale office moves (between floors)
  • Communicate effectively with corporate leaders, managers, and executive admins
  • Lead the project management of various workplace initiatives (office moves, budgeting, maintenance requests)
  • Drive strategic cost optimization initiatives, including auditing and managing vendor invoices, identifying efficiency opportunities, and ensuring adherence to budget through effective supplier utilization
  • Develop and manage budgets for all WP needs
  • Coordinate and partner with IT to help solve IT-related issues, such as monitors and audio-visual equipment
  • Partner with our global security team to maintain extremely high standards around security and visitors
  • Partner with EHS functions to maintain the highest safety standards in compliance with local laws, OSHA, and best practices across the organization
  • Write, review, and support the formal documentation of Workplace team Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental processes to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Supervise and manage direct reports, including the Office Manager, support staff, concierge, and temporary/scalable staff as needed
  • Serve in an “on call” capacity in case of after-hours emergencies
