About The Position

This role is part of the People team and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the office environment. The goal is to create an office space that energizes employees, fosters pride, and minimizes daily inconveniences. The position involves proactive vendor management, timely resolution of facilities issues, and independent management of open tasks. It also includes being the first point of contact for employees and ensuring the office is a welcoming space for guests and new hires. There is an opportunity for growth, including potential involvement in expanding operations to new locations like NYC and London, and contributing to the development of global office experience playbooks.

Responsibilities

  • Keep Workplace Operations running independently.
  • Manage vendors proactively.
  • Resolve facilities issues before employees notice them.
  • Close open items without leadership follow-up.
  • Ensure the office feels like a place employees are proud to bring guests.
  • Coordinate repairs (e.g., HVAC).
  • Plan team events.
  • Prepare the office for new hires.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Help build the playbook for scaling office experience and operations globally (for exceptional performers).
