Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic technology advisor: Build trusted relationships with business and practice leaders and understand their strategies, operating models, workflows, economics, and technology needs. Identify opportunities where technology can improve business performance, scalability, quality, client experience, or risk management. Distinguish problems requiring technology investment from those better addressed through process, adoption, operating-model, or organizational changes. Turn complex business and technology considerations into clear options, recommendations, and actions; challenge assumptions and recommend a path forward. Partner across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, AI, Security, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Risk, and business leadership to establish ownership and decision rights and drive work to outcomes.
  • Lead and develop the Technology Enablement team: Lead and develop a team of 3-5 direct reports, setting clear expectations for business understanding, analytical rigor, judgment, communication, and accountability. Build independent, high-performing team members who bring recommendations and ownership rather than simply coordinating activity or reporting information. Create clear accountability, delegate effectively, coach decision-making, and address performance or ownership gaps promptly.
  • Lead third-party technology and application portfolio strategy: Own visibility into and stewardship of material third-party applications used across the supported service lines. Evaluate whether business needs should be addressed through existing enterprise capabilities, improved adoption or configuration, commercial software, or an internally developed solution. Evaluate software vendors and platforms based on business fit, capabilities, cost, risk, architecture, and strategic alignment. Drive recommendations regarding investment, expansion, consolidation, rationalization, replacement, and retirement, while improving value realization and reducing unnecessary cost and complexity.
  • Shape technology roadmaps and investment priorities: Develop service-line technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy and enterprise technology direction. Help leaders prioritize investments based on value, strategic alignment, cost, risk, complexity, readiness, and capacity. Connect initiatives across the portfolio to reduce duplication and fragmented technology decisions. Surface risks, dependencies, ownership gaps, and decisions early and drive them toward resolution.
