About The Position

The Sr. Tax Manager will play a critical role in Veradigm’s income tax provision process under ASC 740, U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, international tax reporting, and SOX 404 internal controls for a publicly traded company. The role calls for a well-rounded tax professional with Big 4 public accounting training and meaningful public-company income tax experience. In a lean tax department at a small-cap company, the manager will work independently across provision, compliance, and international tax matters, own significant areas of work, and contribute to improving processes and controls as the company grows. The position combines technical income tax, tax accounting, ASC 740, and SOX 404 responsibilities with communication and coordination across tax leadership, outside advisors, auditors, and cross-functional and executive stakeholders. It is a hands-on role involving both technical review and direct preparation and execution. The position is primarily performed in an office/hybrid environment, with occasional travel potentially required for training, audits, or business needs. Extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays may be required during peak close and tax deadline periods.
