About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will serve as the strategic talent leader for Global Manufacturing Operations, including Supply Chain and Procurement. This role is pivotal in driving workforce strategies that directly support high-volume, high-precision manufacturing environments. As the primary Talent Acquisition Point of Contact (POC) for these functions, you will partner with business leaders to align hiring strategies with operational goals, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent that enables scalable production, cost efficiency, and quality excellence. You will lead a team of recruiters focused on sourcing talent for manufacturing engineering, plant operations, supply chain logistics, and procurement roles. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to meet production targets, maintain supply continuity, and uphold industry-leading standards in medical device manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience in talent acquisition or HR leadership will be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a proven track record of hiring across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and procurement functions.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing recruitment teams, including oversight of daily operations, performance coaching, and process optimization.
  • Global Manufacturing & Operations Expertise: Prior experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments, global supply chain teams, and strategic procurement initiatives.
  • Decision-Making Agility: Ability to make sound, independent decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while anticipating future talent needs.
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Skilled in managing multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously with a focus on execution and results.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Recruiting and manufacturing leadership to forecast hiring needs aligned with production schedules and global expansion plans.
  • Maintain a dynamic capacity model to ensure recruiting resources are aligned with factory ramp-ups, supply chain shifts, and procurement cycles.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for roles in plant operations, automation, quality, materials management, and supplier development.
  • Leverage competitive intelligence and labor market data to inform hiring decisions in high-demand manufacturing regions.
  • Conduct proactive talent mapping for critical manufacturing roles, including direct labor, engineering, and leadership positions.
  • Build pipelines for emerging manufacturing technologies and global supply chain capabilities.
  • Ensure recruiting processes meet compliance standards for manufacturing hiring, including labor law, safety certifications, and diversity goals.
  • Monitor ATS metrics and KPIs to optimize recruiter performance and hiring velocity across global factory sites.
  • Coach and mentor recruiters to build expertise in manufacturing and supply chain talent acquisition.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the TA team.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices across all manufacturing sites, ensuring diverse candidate slates for leadership and technical roles.
  • Partner with HRBPs and site leaders to embed DEI goals into workforce planning.
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice in manufacturing hubs through targeted campaigns, job fairs, and partnerships with technical schools and trade organizations.
