CongaHouston, MA

About The Position

As Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A at Conga, you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s financial story and long-term outlook. You’ll support multi-year financial planning, exit-rate and run-rate analysis, executive-level reporting, and ad hoc strategic analysis for senior leadership. This role sits within Corporate FP&A and partners closely with Finance leadership to translate complex financial data into clear, decision-ready insights for the CFO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors. A portion of your role will be intentionally unspecified, allowing flexibility to take on urgent priorities and high-impact strategic initiatives as they arise. At Conga, our Finance team is essential to our success. The insights and analyses you deliver will directly influence enterprise-level decisions, support long-range strategy, and help leadership understand where the business is headed — and why. This role provides a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of financial modeling, strategic thinking, and executive communication, helping to ensure alignment across planning cycles and leadership forums.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, or related fields, ideally within a SaaS or technology-enabled company.
  • Supported executive leadership with forward-looking financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executive-level materials.
  • Built robust financial models, run-rate and bridge analyses, and concise reporting that enables confident decision-making — especially using Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operating principles and can translate those concepts into insights others can easily understand and act on.
  • Take initiative to understand the business’s needs and challenges.
  • Form thoughtful, data-driven perspectives on key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Use insights to influence decisions at the senior leadership level.
  • Proactive about identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and owning outcomes — even when the work falls outside a clearly defined scope.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and enjoy tackling unstructured problems that matter to the business.
  • Accustomed to thinking beyond the current quarter.
  • Comfortable working with multi-year plans, exit-rate views, run-rate normalization, and scenario analysis.
  • Understand how to connect near-term performance to long-term strategy.
  • Quality-oriented, caring deeply about accuracy and clarity.
  • Build processes that minimize errors, and when mistakes do happen, own them, fix them, and improve the process.
  • Seek out answers, leverage your network, and collaborate across teams to get the job done.
  • Apply what you learn broadly and thoughtfully to improve outcomes across the business.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with FP&A systems and tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience supporting Board-level or executive-level financial materials.

  • Strong executive communication and financial storytelling skills.
