About The Position

The Sr. Manager of Software Engineering will lead WEX’s Beyond Fuel and Expense Management initiative within WEX Mobility Engineering. The role leads engineering teams across the United States and India to design, build, and scale payment and expense-management capabilities. In partnership with Product, Design, and business stakeholders, the manager defines technical strategy and delivers solutions that help fleet managers and operators manage business expenses, configure spend controls, and see spending across fuel and non-fuel purchases. The role also drives the adoption of AI across the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency while maintaining security, reliability, and scalability. This is a remote position, but the candidate must live within 30 miles of Boston, Massachusetts; the San Francisco Bay Area, California; Dallas, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Seattle, Washington; or Portland, Maine.
