About The Position

The Pharmacy Operations and Stabilization team provides management and end-to-end oversight of pharmacy benefit intent, quality assurance, testing, and production stabilization activities. The team ensures benefit changes are clearly defined, accurately validated, and effectively managed from issue identification through resolution in a matrixed environment. The Sr. Manager, Program and Project Management will report to the Director of Pharmacy Operations and lead the end-to-end activities needed to bring pharmacy production stabilization issues to full resolution. The role develops executive-level communications and reporting for key stakeholders, supports annual readiness activities, and leads a team of professionals to improve processes and business efficiency. The position works closely with the Pharmacy Strategy and Operations team, other Blue Shield of California and Stellarus teams, and external vendor partners to ensure timely and accurate resolution of pharmacy production stabilization issues. The position follows a hybrid workplace model. For most teams, this means working in the office two days each week. Employees who live more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
