About The Position

Duro Dyne, a leading manufacturer of sheet metal accessories and equipment for the HVAC industry, is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Product Leader to oversee and elevate all aspects of Product Management within Duro Dyne on Long Island. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams and driving product strategy, development, and execution to align with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate will build, guide, and elevate the product function to modern standards while partnering closely with Sales and Marketing. Duro Dyne has been established since 1952 and has evolved into a leading manufacturer in the HVAC industry, employing over 200 people across multiple plant locations. Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on execution and customer outcomes
  • Experience leading complex projects and product initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC or related technical/industrial industries
  • Engineering background or strong technical aptitude
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) and/or MBA
  • Experience in Quality Control & Inspection
  • Experience in CAD / Product Development
  • Experience in Technical Sales

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the full product lifecycle, including product and category management
  • Define and execute product strategy aligned with company goals
  • Drive pricing, positioning, and portfolio optimization
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to lead projects that drive innovation and execution
  • Support and accelerate new product development initiatives
  • Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with customer needs
  • Establish robust reporting frameworks
  • Leverage analytics to inform decision-making and improve performance
  • Track KPIs related to product performance, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead quality control and inspection processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure go-to-market alignment
  • Support technical sales efforts and customer engagement strategies
  • Act as a key partner to the Senior Operations Leader (peer-level collaboration)
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team
  • Professionalize the product function using modern best practices
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for project-based work
