About The Position

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Manager, Paid Social to join our Marketing team in Bethesda, MD. The Senior Manager, Paid Social will lead the strategic direction, performance, and evolution of our paid social media program, with a focus on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). The ideal candidate brings deep retail and agency experience, expertise in product catalog management, and a strong ability to influence creative, cross-functional teams, and external partners. This role is accountable for developing and optimizing paid social strategies that drive business outcomes through effective targeting, compelling creative, and rigorous performance management. You will report to the Senior Director, Performance Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 8+ years of hands-on paid social experience, with strong expertise in Meta platforms and preferably within retail or performance-driven environments.
  • Proven experience managing paid social campaigns end-to-end, including strategy, execution, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across creative, analytics, and merchandising teams.
  • Proficiency with MarTech tools, campaign automation, and performance optimization platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations and business decisions.
  • Experience managing and optimizing large-scale digital advertising budgets.
  • Ability to stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging digital marketing technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Agency experience preferred, but not required.
  • Certifications such as Meta Blueprint, Google Ads, or Google Analytics are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and execution of multi-channel campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat, driving measurable business impact and long-term growth.
  • Own Product Catalog strategy, delivering dynamic, personalized ad experiences and leading creative strategy with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Oversee campaign optimization across audiences, creative, bids, budgets, pacing, and placements to consistently achieve KPIs and growth targets.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships, setting expectations and driving accountability, innovation, and results.
  • Partner cross-functionally with analytics, insights, and marketing teams to deliver reporting and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive innovation through platform betas, emerging technologies, experimentation, competitive analysis, and market research to identify scalable growth opportunities.
  • Advise senior leadership on performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities using insights from tools such as Adobe Analytics and platform reporting.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, experimentation, and accountability.
