About The Position

This position is responsible for driving net new pipeline and revenue through the Business Development Representative (BDR) team while helping build and deliver a continuous learning program for the broader sales organization. Act-On helps marketers orchestrate the full customer lifecycle — from first touch to long-term retention. We believe trust, not transactions, drives sustainable growth. Our platform enables highly personalized, continuous relationship-building at scale. We're now making a deliberate push into financial services, and we want the right product leader to help us earn that market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing sales talent or operating as a top performer in a Sales or Channel Enablement SaaS role.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a background selling into or working directly within financial services (credit unions, banks, insurance companies).
  • Experience delivering and facilitating sales training for small and large groups, both virtually and in-person.
  • Advanced control of value selling methodologies and mandatory Salesforce.com experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a significant advantage given to candidates possessing Revenue Operations (RevOps) or Sales Operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of BDRs focused on high-volume outbound activity, inbound lead qualification, and opportunity identification.
  • Develop and manage a strategic training program encompassing sales onboarding, ongoing certification, and continuous education.
  • Establish best practices, tools, and processes for outbound prospecting and lead follow-up.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for sales communications, facilitating weekly sales meetings, QBRs, and the global kickoff event.
  • Manage the Sales Enablement Resource Center and oversee the implementation, training, and support of all sales tools.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build a systemic approach to lead generation that aligns with sales goals.
  • Tailor outbound messaging, enablement content, and value selling methodologies specifically for the financial services vertical (credit unions, banks, insurance).
