About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Network Optimization Leader serves as a Center of Excellence (CoE) for the Field Sales Network (FSN), focused on driving enterprise-wide optimization, continuous improvement, and standardization. This role influences outcomes without direct operational ownership by partnering across the network to identify opportunities that increase operational throughput, improve cash flow and working capital, and strengthen consistent execution across all FSN sites. This role works horizontally across the US Last Mile ecosystem—including Field Sales, FSN Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Systems—to design, pilot, and scale best practices. Success is achieved through strong analytics, operating model rigor, influence leadership, and disciplined change management rather than direct site-level control.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree is required with a focus in life science, engineering, physical science preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of active management experience including direct supervision and matrix management
  • A minimum of ten years meaningful work experience
  • Strong communication, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, with demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry with knowledge of regulations.
  • Experience in ERP/OTC system implementation and usage.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality and financial principles and practices is required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Field Sales Network Center of Excellence for operating model design, standard work, and execution consistency.
  • Define, document, and govern network-wide standard work and operating rhythms to reduce variation and improve reliability.
  • Develop playbooks and toolkits for core FSN workflows and ensure scalable adoption through leader enablement.
  • Establish governance mechanisms to evaluate, prioritize, and manage process changes across the network.
  • Lead structured continuous improvement efforts using lean and problem-solving methodologies to address throughput constraints.
  • Identify systemic bottlenecks and rework drivers and partner with leaders to implement scalable countermeasures.
  • Capture high-performing site practices and build repeatable deployment models to scale improvements network-wide.
  • Influence and support initiatives that improve working capital performance through better asset utilization and redeployment.
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to quantify value, prioritize high-impact efforts, and track realized benefits.
  • Define leading indicators tied to cash flow efficiency, inventory velocity, and asset productivity.
  • Develop common KPI definitions and performance frameworks to enable apples-to-apples comparisons across sites.
  • Create executive-ready dashboards and insights that translate operational data into decisions and priorities.
  • Lead data-driven deep dives and scenario analyses to support strategic FSN decisions.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, remove friction, and sustain standardized execution.
  • Lead change enablement for network-wide initiatives including communications, training, and adoption measurement.
  • Serve as a neutral facilitator to resolve trade-offs between service, cost, speed, and compliance.
