About The Position

Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a Network Engineer (RAN Optimization). In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions in your respective technical domain. These solutions will be based on customer specifications and business needs. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for creating both short- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of technical expertise in various of the following areas: 4G, 5G NSA/SA, VoNR, MBB/FWA, RAN Sharing/MOCN, ML/AI applied to NDO services
  • Deep RAN SW product portfolio knowledge including LTE, NR FDD, NR TDD, and mmW
  • Good understanding of RAN/mobile network, deployment scenarios, performance, optimization, etc.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson equipment, radio network features, algorithms, and parameters
  • Ability to understand customers business objectives and be able to link them to improvements in Network Performance and End User Experience
  • Team Building, Developing Others and Sharing Knowledge mindset
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated, show initiative and capability to work in challenging circumstances and learn independently
  • Result-oriented with focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery. Customer care and high concern for quality is required
  • Strong team player working very closely with Sales, Product Management, PDU, Domain and Program Office.

  • prefer a masters in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or IT

Responsibilities

  • RAN Optimization
  • Engage in detailed discussions with customers about their technology strategy and key bottlenecks.
  • Evaluate customer's technological environment, business requirements and plans.
  • Identify areas for customer improvement and potential hurdles related to technology and business.
  • Collaborate with Core-3 team to generate lists of potential activities and solutions.
  • Develop and present technical presentations to customers.
