Our Network Engineer is a crucial part of our process ranging from early engagement, pre-sales of services and networks, to service delivery and acceptance. This role demands a deep technical understanding to deliver high-quality network design, advanced technical network analysis, role in pre-sales tasks, proficiency with Ericsson's cutting-edge analytics solutions, a commitment to driving innovation, and an emphasis on customer-focus and quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • A bachelors (or preferred master’s) degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience in RF optimization or RAN performance for cellular networks
  • Strong understanding of Ericsson 4G/5G RF parameters, features, and performance characteristics.
  • Automation know-how and skills to tools is key (Python and Power BI)
  • Proficiency with Ericsson hardware, including basebands, radios, and antennas.
  • In-depth knowledge of RF KPIs, performance optimization, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve RSSI, PIM, RET and RF issues.
  • Ability to interpret site alarms and determine corrective actions.
  • Proficient in Ericsson Performance Tool, Heatmap Tool, CAS Management Tool, Security CRT Tool, and Secure Access Client.
  • Competent in using ENM and AMOS commands for network configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Comprehending and adhering to the unique processes and requirements of each market.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as NIC, ODS, NDS, IC, and Field Engineering.
  • Ability to communicate project status and technical insights with Project Managers, Integration Managers, Sales teams, Area Directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Able to provide timely and clear communication to internal teams and customers, ensuring concerns

Responsibilities

  • Lead the launch of new carriers, sites for 4G, 5G, CBRS, and small cells across a top tier operator (SoCal, NorCal, and PNW markets).
  • Manage and support C-band launches, including SSV drive testing and auditing activities.
  • Monitor KPIs and troubleshoot RF issues for new carrier and site deployments.
  • Monitor KPIs and resolve RF issues associated with radio and baseband swaps.
  • Successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction
