Sr Manager Marketing Tech Enablement

CDWChicago, IL
$143,000 - $214,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Technology Enablement serves as the technical architecture authority for marketing automation and CDW's marketing technology ecosystem. The role owns platform intake, triage, and the ongoing health of the martech estate, and partners closely with IT, Data, and Security teams to ensure scalable system design, stable integrations, and a proactive roadmap for feature development. The core of the role is platform and integration architecture: designing, implementing, and governing API-driven, cloud-native integrations across CDP, CRM, journey orchestration, analytics, and activation platforms, and leading the marketing technology team that builds and supports them. AI is an important but supporting part of this role. As generative, predictive, and agentic capabilities expand across campaign planning, audience intelligence, content operations, personalization, and measurement, this leader ensures the data foundations, integration patterns, and guardrails are in place to use them safely, moving ideas from use case to production to measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in marketing technology, CRM integration, or enterprise integration engineering, or 11+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years designing and implementing RESTful APIs, including authentication, versioning, and governance standards.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, JSON payload design, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience writing technical integration specifications.
  • Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or similar languages.
  • Experience architecting cloud-native integrations using AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as ON24 and Cvent.
