About The Position

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) is seeking a Sr. Manager, Marketing Execution & Communications to join the Tim Hortons US Marketing Team in Miami, FL. This role is crucial for ensuring the executional feasibility and readiness of products across over 650 restaurants. The position involves leading cross-functional alignment with departments such as Culinary, Calendar, Category Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing Communications, Legal, and Digital to bring products and ideas to market. This includes managing supply chain lead times, POS functionality, and in-restaurant execution requirements. Additionally, the role is responsible for all communication channels directed at franchisees, including the intranet, weekly newsletter, monthly webcast, and in-person events. The Sr. Manager will also manage a direct report overseeing the POS vendor relationship, market test calendar, and communications support. This is a leadership role focused on QSR execution and readiness, requiring the ability to track products through commercialization, drive cross-functional alignment, and possess strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. RBI operates on a 5-day in-office work schedule to foster collaboration, and successful candidates will be expected to work onsite five days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of work experience in QSR, fast-casual, food & beverage, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a marketing calendar and commercialization pipeline against operational readiness and launch timelines.
  • Experience owning Stage Gate or similar governance processes, including executive-level readouts.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between marketing initiatives, franchisee operations, and restaurant-level execution.
  • Exceptional cross-functional communication skills; able to align stakeholders across marketing, operations, supply chain, and franchise teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with tools such as SAP Business Objects, Monday.com, or ContactMonkey a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Direct QSR or franchised restaurant system experience.
  • Experience working with large franchisee networks and building launch materials that speak to operator economics, not just brand objectives.
  • Experience managing a direct report or vendor partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Own planning, prioritization, and execution of the annual promotional marketing calendar, ensuring operational readiness and cross-functional alignment across culinary, supply chain, operations, and marketing.
  • Lead go-to-market execution of national product launches and promotional campaigns across 650+ restaurant locations.
  • Manage concurrent marketing campaigns by tracking timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and execution risks, while proactively driving issue resolution.
  • Own market test calendar and process from creation of restaurant lists, communication to field team, in-restaurant visits, and follow up calls with franchisees.
  • High-level ownership of Stage Gate process ensuring products are following proper reviews, hitting key milestones, and receiving alignment with Tims Hortons US leadership.
  • Create, plan, test, and execute POS buttons and functionality for every launch in partnership with Canadian team counterparts.
  • Manage direct report that oversees POS relationship by partnering with Canadian technology team and POS vendor.
  • Own franchisee communications strategy synthesizing key updates across the Tim Hortons US intranet, newsletter, webcasts, and in-person events.
  • Keep updated email lists of Franchisees and Corporate Employees to ensure emails are reaching proper audiences.
  • Partner with the Executive Team to coordinate monthly meetings for the Franchisee Advisory Board by organizing content, sending follow ups, and supporting yearly election process.
  • Share cross-functional updates with Canadian Communications Team, other RBI Brand Communications Teams, Government Relations team, to draft and send ad hoc communications.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to work through depletion and sold-out strategies and understand overall positioning of all products.
  • Actively manage drop lists, commitments, and forecasts to have drive workstream visibility and accountability.
  • Partner with Foundation Team on communications, events planning, and charitable program execution.
  • Lead yearly Smile Cookie, Holiday Smile Cookie, and Camp Day planning through coordination with the Foundation Team, Field Teams, and Marketing Teams and creation of events playbook.
  • Partner with Marketing, Culinary, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Analytics, and vendors to ensure every initiative is launch-ready and operationally viable before it hits the market.
  • Set a high bar for execution rigor, proactive risk identification, and stakeholder accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage a direct report responsible for POS vendor management and market test calendar organization.
  • Build scalable execution tools and centralized resources that standardize commercialization processes and improve knowledge sharing across the team.
