About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Intl Tax Reporting is a key leadership role within the Tax function, responsible for overseeing global income tax reporting and compliance activities for international entities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate tax provision, transparent financial reporting, and compliance with global tax regulations, while supporting business growth and transformation initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to partner closely with Finance leadership, influence enterprise‑level decisions, and contribute to the financial integrity of a global MedTech organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field (required).
  • Typically requires 6-8 years of progressive experience in international tax reporting, tax accounting, or related finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP income tax accounting and international tax reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience leading complex global tax provision processes in a multinational organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or MBA (preferred).
  • Experience within a large, complex multinational or publicly traded company.
  • Background in a Big Four or national public accounting firm.
  • Experience with tax provision and reporting systems and process automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of international statutory reporting and local tax compliance considerations.
  • Experience supporting business transformations, reorganizations, or separations.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead global international tax reporting activities, including quarterly and annual income tax provision processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Oversee preparation and review of tax reporting schedules, disclosures, and supporting documentation for consolidated financial statements.
  • Partner with Corporate Tax, Finance, and regional teams to ensure accurate alignment between tax reporting, statutory accounts, and management reporting.
  • Monitor changes in international tax laws and accounting standards, assessing impacts to the organization and driving timely implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex international tax matters, including foreign tax credits, withholding taxes, transfer pricing impacts, and uncertain tax positions.
  • Support audits by internal, external, and regulatory stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for international tax reporting matters.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor tax professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within tax reporting processes.
