About The Position

This position plays a critical role in leading Church efforts to care for the pool and needy and minister to the temporal needs of others. The role provides cash, commodities, or in-kind assistance directly or through partners to those in need of basics such as food, water, shelter, clothing, medicine, and medical/psychosocial treatment, protection and information services, child-friendly spaces, and child education all throughout the world. Customers benefitting from the incumbent's work include presiding Church officers, area presidencies, directors of temporal affairs, academic institutional leaders, and governmental leaders and citizens of recipient countries and domestic/global charitable organizations. Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work. From the IT professional who develops an app that sends the gospel message worldwide, to the facilities manager who maintains our buildings— giving Church members places to worship, teach, learn, and receive sacred ordinances—our employees seek innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.
